Imbo Licence – Prospects/Targets
The northwest strike continuation of the Kitenge Prospect is coincident with historical and localized current workings, referenced as the Senegal Prospect.
Mapping concludes that the Senegal Prospect has a minimum strike length of 1700 m. Gold values obtained in 2010 soil samples included a value of 69.6 g/t Au and trenching of this anomaly in 2011, returned two gold bearing intersections, namely:
- 2.3 m grading 4.56 g/t Au, including 0.70 m grading 14.15 g/t Au, and
- 2.40 m grading 1.26 g/t Au.
Several 2012, widely spaced diamond drill holes are delineating the gold potential of the Senegal Prospect.
